fields of migration and international human rights law and policy, including as a Consultant for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), I bring an on-the-ground perspective to high level theory and policy. I graduated
from Arizona State University School of Law in 2005, where my deep engagement with immigrant and LGBTQI+ rights movements and client-centred practice significantly influenced my critical constructivist approach to academic research
and teaching.
